HISTORY
The DJ Service began back in 1998 and
was started by myself (David Manke) and stemmed from entertaining at
Skateway Incorporated. The company was first called Digital Productions
until 2006 and then thereafter Paradoxos Entertainment (late 2006).
2007 into 2008 the name was changed again, but just to Dave Manke DJ
Services. About two years into DJing at Skateway, my uncle Dorn supplied
me with a free set of speakers and an old Peavey amp to get me started.
The business never really booked tons of gigs, but just mainly friends
who knew friends that needed music at weddings and parties. Then between
2005-2008 as I was finishing up my degree in college, events became
more frequent. The summer of 2007 was filled with weddings, birthday
parties, and class reunions, which turned out to be the busiest year
thus far.
Most of the events were located inside,
especially weddings; but some were located outdoors or even set up under
tents. The most frequent place that I have spun tunes is at the UFCW
Hall in Monroe, Ohio and the Trenton Ohio Fishermans Club. Other fun
places included Kings Island Resort, The Eagles in Middletown, The Great
Wolf Lodge, The Verity Lodge at Miami University, New Miami High School,
Hamilton 2nd Street Church, St. Johns of Central Avenue, Holy Mary Trinity
in Monroe Ohio, Conover Hall in Franklin, Farmersville Rod n Gun Club,
Dayton Crown Plaza, and the Celebrations Riverboat Cincinnati (these
are also great places to book).
I am experienced and ready to rock your party! ; )
