FAQ's
Q: How long will I need a DJ?
A: Most parties should only last 3 hours, especially birthdays, afternoon
weddings, and early evening weddings. However, if you are planning to
have a late wedding reception, then 4 hours is a common length.
Q: Do weddings have a special
format? A: The normal wedding format
consists of introducing the wedding party, eating a buffet dinner, cutting
the cake, the formal dances, bouquet/garter toss, and then open dance
floor. This is a normal format, but being creative and mixing it up
is always more fun for the guests, bridal party, and the DJ.
Q: Should I have a DJ with just
a few people? A: I can
DJ any party and bring excitement to the atmosphere, but I strongly
recommend having 50-75 guests minimum before hiring a DJ. Why? It's
worth saving a few hundred bucks if you can compromise for a cd player
knowing only a few of your guests will be dancing.
Q: How soon should I book?
A: Book your event at least 1 month in advance
if not a wedding; weddings should be booked at least 2-3 months in advance
that way you and I can sit down and write an entertainment plan for
your special night.
