DM DJ Services was started in 1998 by Dave Manke and stemmed from him being an entertainer at Skateway Inc. for several years. The company began to first grow when friends needed music at birthday parties, weddings, and holiday parties. Between the years 2006 and 2008 the business picked up the best years thus far! By far, 2009 was difficult due to economic hardship, but 2010 and 2011 is already beginning to book up quickly.

Although hard partying is not a part of the owners life anymore, the business still operates on moral principles, biblical guidelines, and excellent interpersonal communication technique. Dave himself has obtained his business degree from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio and is still furthering his education in Marketing for small business leadership and development.

Most of the events that DM DJ Services provides music for are located inside; some have been outside under tents and other exciting set-ups. The most frequented party bookings have been at The Great Wolf Lodge, Miami University Middletown, the UFCW in Monroe, Conover Hall in Franklin, the Dayton Crown Plaza, Celebrations Riverboat Cincinnati, and Kings Island Resort in Mason, Ohio.
